White Rock Inn - San Marcos

Surprisingly spacious unit with the air off. Easy to get to, comfortable and perfect location next to shopping/restaurants, a library and downtown.

We were there for 6 nights and felt would stay here again. The room was clean and outstanding with a microwave oven and a fridge. Its location was favourable, just off downtown and a park and a library.

Room was infested with bugs and dirty.

I had an amazing time exploring parks like Rio Vista Park, just a 5-minute walk away, and enjoyed delicious bites at Fuego Tortilla Grill, only a few steps from my room, making my stay convenient for weekend city strolls.

Convenient Location with Potential

The shower pressure impressed us! Check for insects around the room. The hotel's close proximity to local stores made grabbing snacks easy for our adventures in San Marcos.

I had a good time hanging out by the pool and enjoying the spacious room with my kids during our short stay. The hotel offers a cozy lounge and a nice outdoor seating area to unwind. One small issue was the early housekeeping call, but it didn't ruin our fun 😊

Family with children paradise

The room was clean and surprisingly spacious we had the three beds for the kids and my wife and I actually got some sleep and the outdoor pool looked perfect for the kids but we didn't get a chance to enjoy it

The well-functioning air conditioner provided a nice relief from the Texas heat, a definite plus in that area.

When you get into the details, it's clear there are some concerns. The absence of breakfast or housekeeping is a bit disappointing, especially for a rate over a hundred bucks. The furniture showed signs of wear and the overall cleanliness felt lacking. I suspect they didn't do a thorough job before my stay. If cleanliness is a priority for you, better check elsewhere.

The stay included a spacious room and friendly staff. These factors overshadowed the otherwise positive aspects of the stay, leaving a mixed impression.

It was great with its spacious queen room that wassuper clean and cozy. The staff was friendly and accommodating throughout my visit.

Perfect for families!

We spent a night here with our kids, and it was a lifesaver. The room had 3 beds, a huge bonus for us! The outdoor pool looked fun, and we wish we had time to jump in. The location was near some great outlets too. Just a bit noisy from the street at night.

Cozy, Comfortable, Cozy

The room was spacious and so comfortable. I sank into the bed like it was a soft cloud. The staff welcomed me with smiles and were super helpful.

We visited the local river and checked out some amazing shops. The place was affordable, spacious, and perfect for our group. Just a heads-up, the cleaning could be better, but overall, the value is solid for the area.

One downside was the front desk staff miscounting my cash during checkout, a bit frustrating.

The location was excellent, very close to local attractions. The queen room with two queen beds was pretty spacious and the bathrooms were clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

the place could use some updates but that doesn't take away from my recommendation.
